Big news! New York wine and spirits company Sovereign Brands has reportedly sold the luxury champagne brand Armand de Brignac, known for its ‘Ace of Spades‘ to JAY Z. Another addition to his growing portfolio of business acquisitions, the premium champagne retails for $300 USD per bottle and is a popular choice amongst the rich. JAY Z’s affinity for the Ace of Spades label is no secret, the hip-hop mogul has been endorsing the brand at his infamous 40/40 club in Manhattan for years. Cool fact: a 30-liter bottle weighing around 100 lbs can sell for over $200K USD. Produced in the French town of Chigny-les-Roses by eight people, JAY Z purchased the company for an undisclosed amount. Thoughts? Be sure to let us know what you think in the comment section!
